To commemorate the fifth anniversary of the release of my translation of Rossi's 1885 fencing treatise, I have created a revised edition which not only corrects the few errors that made it into the first edition, but also includes an updated translation of Rossi's 1890 booklet Considerations and proposals for the unification of the various fencing systems in Italy, which I first published on this blog back in 2019.
More significantly than this, however, is the fact that my translation is now proudly licensed under Creative Commons, meaning that anyone is free to download it here via the Internet Archive and share it as they please. Physical copies can still be purchased, at cost, via Blurb.
My sincere thanks to anyone who purchased a copy of the first edition over the past few years and supporting my work.
